Yeah, and there are better players than Rooney and Gerrard, but it doesn't mean they should be replaced.

For me, he is more than solid enough and can certainly hold his own as has proved with some mind blowing saves so far to keep us in games. We have a number of positions far more urgent of strengthening first, before we should be worrying about a keeper.. and certainly not if he intends blowing a sizable chunk of our budget on one.

Either way, if he wants a keeper, i'd prefer Paul Robinson.

sorry but foster hasnt done a thing to merit getting 5 million paid for him! in fact i think he is a average keeper at best! god next we will be linked with that clown carson! the only thing i can think as to why paddy needs replacing is this injury he has beenn strugling with of late could be a lot worse than we are lead to believe! by the way who is paul parkes is he phils brother????

Kenny is a million miles better than Foster. Foster is always prone to mistakes and his kicking is shocking.

Yep. Would much prefer a cheeky bid For Al Habsi of Wigan. Not that I want Kenny out, just nothing wrong with a bit of competition. That said this is not a position we should be worrying about currently.

Bigger problems than replacing our goalie as im sure Sparky now realises. We are lacking in quality all over the pitch to be fair

Kenny has not been as good as he was before his injury.

McGregor at Rangers was a target was he not.

Agree on all points for & against Paddy but £5m for me is to much in the short term.

Waste 5m on foster when we have kenny. What a joke. Personally there is no goalkeeper we could get our hands on that I'd like to replace kenny. Only ones I'd take over him are the top tier of goalkeepers. For me kenny falls in the second bracket with your Ben fosters etc

With the defence we're lookin at we won't need a goalkeeper.

Replacement goalkeeper I'm actually talking about.

Shay Given and Kenny would make a good pairing.

I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Spending a reputed quarter of the transfer budget on a keeper is not the solution. If Kenny is to be replaced, it should happen in the summer. I think we all know that CBs and a CM is first priority and I'm sure Hughes knows that.

I think there's too much speculation in the papers linking us with all and sundry.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Really? Personally, think he is perfectly fine for us and more than capable in the PL. Doesnt help with the shoddy defence in front of him, once that gets sorted he will seem alot better.

If we had unlimited funds and were fine tuning the whole side then yes, maybe a better keeper could be bought, but as it stands we should be sorting out other areas way ahead of even considering a new keeper.

                            IMHO of course.

Foster is far to inconsistent and Kenny is a much better keeper. Foster is a flapper and is prone on going awol and flying out when there is no need to. Kenny has made one mistake this season against Tottenham and he made up for that by making a quality save to stop us conceding because of it.
