  • we will go down guardless........

sorry but even if we get the';rumoured' signings which at present seem laughable i think relegation is a nailed on certainty.........with odds on defeats at man city/utd/chelsea/newcastle home to arsenal/spurs/liverpool we have to win minimum eight of the rest..................i dont think so................goodbye old trafford/emirates hello keepmoat n new den!

Its possibly true, but if you look at it as 5 wins and something between 3 and 6 draws it doesn't look quite so bad. We have eight games ahead amongst which 4 are 6 pointers.
Even today the West Brom result pulls them down into that group of 6 pointers. Its by no means sure that QPR are relegation certainties.
A good performance tomorrow that brings with it a strategy, a settled positive team selection, and even a point, things will change rapidly.
Our season will be decided by the second week in March in my opinion. I think Hughes is a more ruthless man than Neil Warnock, less of how much fun it all is, lets start getting points NOW.

Then theres the wins at home to Wigan, Foolham, Wolves, Everton & Swansea we will get.

We need 6 wins. We will be fine come the end of the season, very confident.

Interesting. I have been thinking about this myself. We seriously need to pick up the home form.

I think we need to pick up a minimum of another six wins by the end of the season which will give us 35points. Im guessing we will need another 3 points (hoping 38 will be safe) so unless the extra three points come from a win we need to take points from 9 games which is 50% of what is left.

Think were going too need a big win or to take points off one of the top six if were going to do it.

Suppose what is reassuring is that all the experts say we will stay up now we have Hughes. If we take an unexpected point tomorrow could be a turning point

Agree mate tis been poo upto now (bar the odd great moment ie Chelski, Everton, Stoke) but its a clean slate now, everythin to play for and could be worse; its not like Sparkie has to start with us miles adrift at the bottom. Its still in our own hands.

I know you are on the wind-up

But what of the 11 games you haven't mentioned?

And you never know with tomorrow, anything could happen! Without Tiote and Ba, they have lost a bit of creativity and goals. Not saying they are not still a good team, but I think Best/Ameobi and more manageable than Ba

Hughes has clearly looked at the situtation and weighed up the odds. He must be confident of keeping us up or there is no way he would have taken the job.

No doubt he has looked at the remaining fixtures and plotted were the points will come from and will drill this into the players no slip ups.

Time to be counted every player and fan must step up and do his duty
