From what I've seen of him, Gabbidon looks absolutely hopeless. Slow, has no control over the accuracy of his headers (remember Sunderland's second goal?), clumsy and poor positionally. I have several West Ham-supporting friends and they all say that he was a liability. Obviously it's difficult to say whether Gorkss would be successful in the Premiership, but I reckon he'd do a better job than Gabbidon.

Just to add in to the mix that im not overly convinced with Ferdinand.
As was warned by West Ham supporting pals he is too inconsistent. Looks class 1 week and very average the next.
Maybe , if we get him, someone with bags of experience like Alex will bring him on
