He will always be a legend here. He is also the first manager in history I think that's had anything to say about being replaced. But that's Neil isn't it, he loves to talk, he's amusing too when called for. One of those guys you can never win an argument with, always convincing. Because he became so high profile here, he's had to do a lot of talking to justify his position, and to talk up any future employment, whether managing or not. Good luck Neil.

never had sympathy for any manager before...... Think I might have had a bit there though. He is a lot more likeable than he used to be and I think he will continue his move into the media, where he is also really good.

He´ll get over it, but indeed it what a touching read.

Simply one of the best in the game,If he wasn´t that "stubborn", he could be amongst the very, very best

Anyway,I Wish you and your family all the best for the future, Neil.

PS. Plymouth Argyle need you.(This season especially)

Some of the comments are just ever so slightly bitter imo, and suggest that MH is inheriting a team about to go on a run of points scoring and table climbing.

To quote, ''in Jan we had a winnable run of fixtures coming up which, with the team strengthened, would provide the opportunity to move up the table''.

So if we do, then NW will say it was his prep, and if we don't he will claim we should have with him at the helm.

Not sure if it's clever or bitterness, but does put more pressure on MH, and I'm not sure he would of appreciated these comments.

Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Really nice read, and shows what QPR meant to him.

Will always be held in legend status at this club for everything he had to deal with, including Flavio, the points deduction, and for turning us around.

I like NW very much as manager but my world also has been turned upside down in the last two months without a win...
