Lets face it, we dont REALLY know who we are bidding for or in 'talks' with. Neither do we know if these players are interested or not..

We have been linked with some great players, the only player I dont want is AJ from Fooolhaaaam!

When is the deadline to transfer a player in order for him to play on Sunday?

This is key, for me, WE MUST bring in 1 fresh face by Sunday...

A CM is 100% the problem area, no doubt about it.
If we can bring in a CB or ST in that time as well then its an added bonus!

No rush, Wigan is where we kick start our season IMO... Newcastle will be a hard game regardless!

After all the euphoria we are witnessing how hard it is to buy decent players in Jan. You end up panic buying, paying too much for poor quality - as our big, weak squad of reserves shows. Be amazed if anyone was in before Sunday now - at this rate we cd be struggling for Wigan.

Dont get me wrong, it is hard, however money talks...

As fans its tempting - you only have to read some of the comments on this board - to say "ffs, just dip your hand in your pocket and give them what they want for the player". But four years later you are left paying Rowan Vine 20 grand a week to burn 50 dollar bills in Vegas casinos.
