If you read the following from the mail today, it would seem that Bothroyd and HH may not fit in to the way MH plays, but DJ and Jamie will.

"They will play a lot of football in training, but all of it will be short and sharp, and at a level that is harder and faster than in a match"

"You got used to playing that way, and at Blackburn one of our main things was that we could play at a high tempo for a long time. Some teams couldn’t live with that. I don’t believe they will have changed their outlook."

When has he played any football, or is he on loan somewhere in Europe?

Don't want some rusty player who's been wasted by HR (how many are there....).

If he's sharp and the fee ok, then a possiblity, but we have Taraabt and i don;t think you can have two such luxury players in the same side.

Well he got 13 prem goals for a relgated side last season, has pace and could be useful if the formation and style of play suited that type of player.

According to some posters he looks very unfit ATM and we need to survive this season..
Could it be that he´s got the Glandula fever....

He's been on the bench so must be fit. The fact NW put him on for 10mins here and there and team still hit the same long ball they would for HH doesn't suit his game at all. Sometimes players need to be a little more clever in the way the play the game.

As to whether he's match fit i don't know, but i do know i've not seen one ball defence splitting pass played into space behind an opposing defence fo him to race through on goal one on one.

If he is to play then imo, Buz must play behind him or centre mid behind 2 forwards as he has vision and can unlock doors for fun.

Surely infraction points for this suggestion... Seen them being handed out for less. Is what ive said like a player waving a hand in the air asking for a player to be booked??

A bit more mature player IMO.
But I wouldnt sell Taraabt though.
