  • The so called signings..

Samba... PSG and Spurs seem favs now

Onuhua ... Wants to stay up north and wont be sold yet due to VK suspension

Alex ... Appara turned us down in todays paper

    Pienaar... looking promising

Do we need other targets that are available for Sparky to go get now??

Otherwise we have the whole NW thing again where there is only 1/2 weeks to identify and buy players, then takes a month to bed them in....

We need to get final answers on the above by Monday, if not; F*ck them off and move on.

Dont look like nothing will happen until the 30th January

Every club trying to squeeze the most money for players and that means leaving it to the last minute so the price increases

Not a single transfer (except for a couple of loans - one of which was us) has happened yet. Lots of wrangling over offers, valuations, personal terms, contracts, players sitting tight waiting to see who comes in offering what. Have to be patient, that's the way it is and why so much ends up being sealed in the last week and days

It's a domino effect. Once a significant transfer happens, then things start to move and one player slots into one club, allowing another to move on and so on and so on.

I would rather he takes his time and gets players he wants. Warnock was forced to panic buy but did some good business in the circumstances but by comparison, Hughes has time to sort out his targets.

As much as i'd like a couple in quick, i agree i'd rather he waits a bit longer to assess and get the right players who want to come for the right reasons.

Also bear in mind he has a proven track record of bringing relatively unknown players to the UK who turn out to be stars, Samba being one. One article said one of his coaches, Wiedzicki or whatever his name is, has an encyclopedic knowledge of players around the world so i'm sure he plays a key role, and for all we know, they could be moving in wider circles than have been reported to date.
