Not long been back from the game. A fantastic result really.

In all honesty bar a good Andrade effort from about 20 yards in the first half which the Everton keeper saved well, Everton looked the better side for the 1st half hour. Kept the ball well and we looked a bit nervous with some sloppy passes etc. Towards the end of the first half we came into the game through sheer hard work really and by sticking to the task.

We scored about 10 minutes into the 2nd half. An excellent goal by Bruno at the Loft end (the first of many I hope),picked it up ran at the Everton defence and unleashed a left footer into the bottom corner from about 25 yards. Everton came back fairly well and Gareth Deane the R's goalie made a fantasic save from a 20yard free kick which he turned onto the bar.

      A great result overall.

As for performances. Deane looked good in goal, some good saves and one excellent save. Kicked well and looks decent.

Andrade loked the pick of the bunch although seemed to disappear for 5-10 minutes here and there but no doubting he has ability and the goal was a fine effort.

Frankie Sutherland took the set pieces well but was red carded with 10minutes to go for a reckless tackle. No malice just mistimed.

A very good result for the youth team. Would be nice if the senior side could match the cup exploits come Tueday night!
