I think it's pretty unanimous to all that £1m for a player of this quality is a bargain that can't be overlooked if it is indeed a correct article.
What must also be considered is that given MH knows him inside out, how to get the best out of him, and the player likewise will respond to him, and we could get a real gem on our hands at a bragain basement price. Certainly a different league to Bothroyd / DJ etc when fit. Who really wanted Derry and Hill.... not many, and they were among the best players for Warnock because they each knew how to do best for the boss and vica versa.
