  • who starts in centre mid sunday then?

its quite likely to be derry with the captains armband (even though i reckon it should be given to luke young).

but who else? we have to bear in mind that whoever starts then will also ost likely play against mcdonalds in the cup wednesday and if we win that against chelsea. am i the only one who doubts that deryy will be able to play all of those games in one week?

i reckon buz will partner him sunday which is a bit of a shame as he hasnt cut the mustard and derry hasnt really either
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

Buz and Derry possibly. Or if he got Alex in, he may even try Ferdinand in DM......

TBF they were our 2 best players in the early games of the season, and since then have only been given bit part appearances. If they train and then start a couple of matches together, they could be ok. I think Derry needs another body in there though or he could get overun as Buz would look to push forward so he can hit the winner in the top corner from 25 yards.

derry was probably our best player during august as he looked like the only one who actually give a monkeys when we were 4-0 down to bolton. sadly i think were suffering from the same syndrome as cardiff had last season with craig bellamy but with joey barton
