I think the size of the transfer fund would have been negoiated as part of his contract. It may be that he has not negoiated an actual figure but postions and names of players and it will up to PB to get them in regardless of cost.
I think they want to buy now the quality that they can use higher up the table which will mean they dont need to discard them in 6 months time and start again.
MH must have a resaonable amount for this windows and the next and the one after that if they are to meet the ambition talked about.One for all.... and all for one

Its very clear, the squad we have got is not strong enough to stay up comfortably. New manager syndrome will only last for a few games after that its a dog fight.
