It sounds like he'll go to PSG if they make a bid.

It makes me laugh that you lot think he'll warm the bench at Spurs. He'll be straight into that team, and he's more than good enouigh to keep his place. From a footballing point of view, it's a complete no-brainer on where he would go if both us and Spurs went in for him. Look at them these days...They are on their way to being a real force, and Samba could be a big part of that.

Plus, if PSG make an offer, they are looking pretty ambitious as well.
        Your mum would love me...

Don't think we'll win this one, I'd be happy with Onuoha, Alex and Bridge on loan to the end of the season.

Then we would have Young or Onuoha at RB, Ferdinand or Onuoha at CB, Alex at CB with Gabbidon as back up and Bridge or Traore at left back. Seems pretty strong to me.

Have to applaud the way Tottenham are playing as well.Hence ,I would rate them 2nd behind United ATM.
Canīt see us getting Samba accordingly.
I sincerely hope Iīm wrong, though.

I would rate them ahead of United at the moment, have you not seen their last 2 league games?

As for Samba, Benny brings a bit of realism to the debate. As much as i want him to sign for us when you think of it like that i would put our chances at about 30%

Still, if Tottenham do sign Samba maybe that will free up Bassong if he's still a target.

I'd rather we got Alex as he's cheaper....8 mill for Samba ties up a fair wedge of Sparky's transfer war chest...getting Alex in for around 3 mill leaves more money in the pot towards other potential signings.

Only issue I have with that is that Samba is a real beast who would bring the best out of Ferdinand alongside him whereas Ferdinand and Alex wd certainly look v elegant but are either player the type of centre half to put their face in the way of a size 12? I'm not saying they aren't, but I do ask the q.

                    Edit: I meant 2nd after City,lol.

Tottenham: Yepp, I have seen their two last homematches on telly. A very impressing team at the moment. Was very impressed by the way they used their wings and wingbacks to create chances against a Quite soild Everton defence last night.

QPR: Sure Bassong still can be an option, I havenīt seen him play at all, But he is better than Anton F. I presume??Have to say that I rate Anton when 100% focused and of course fit.
Anyway, we need a bit of cover in that position. I rate Gabbidon for his effort, but his first touch and sometimes a lack of picking the right pass in easy positions hugely lets him down. He is a bit of a mystery player to me actually!!

Ps. I agree with you and Benny regarding Samba.
