As mentioned further up Ephraim and Taarabt were a joy to watch. This would be my formation if we don't sign any other players.

      Cerny

Gorkks LB (He is left footed whereas Connolly isn't)
Hall CB (I would rather Hall at CB than Ramage at RB)
      Stewart CB
      Connolly RB

      Taarabt LM
      Ephraim CM
      Rowlands CM
      Routledge RM

      Buzz AMF
      Vine CF

      Bench

      Legs
      Helguson
      Aygemang
      Faurlin
      Ramage
      Goalkeeper
      Cook

I haven't seen Faurlin play so can't comment on him yet, hence he gets the bench for this exercise. It was bloody hard coming to the above....

Only problem with this midfield is only Rowly can put a tackle in.

I like it, and although those 3 CB's are capable...I don't feel It's strong enough with some of the strikers in this league.

Still, it's nice to see the midfield looking like this for a change. Sure, we've always seemed to have too many of them, but at least this time they're full of good players and not players like armel, birch and even bolder who I personay really liked yet he's not a top CCC midfielder. We look that strong there now that it even seems plausable to sell players like Rowlands, Cook, Epraim or even Routledge due to the amount of cover we have in those positions.

Of course, I don't want any of the above to leave but it was a disaster when we lost Cook before...now it wouldn't matter so much.

So...on reflection...we're a damn sight better off than when the fat man took over!!!

Good post but I wouldn't want to see Routledge though

seems a lot are obsessed with 442. ive posted my line-up many time and will do it again.

                      -------------------------cerny------------------------

                      legs-------------connolly-----gorkks-----------borrowdale

                      -----------------------rowlands------------------------

                      routledge--------------buzsaky------------------taarabt

                      -------------------vine---------helguson-----------------

at loftus road no team in this division could stop us going forward, short, sweet and slick passing all the way. attack, attack, attack. Legs and Borrowdale would be encouraged to get forward but leave the crossing to the players that can actually do it. keep the ball on the deck at all times and we will rip teams to pieces. Rowlands would be under strict orders to do the simple things, always look for the short simple pass, and to not venture any further forward than oppositions centre circle. feel he is disciplined enough to follow these orders. would rotate routledge with ephraim, taraabt with cookie and balanta. Buzz would have complete license to roam and no defensive duties whatsoever, never drop deeper than the halfway line. Vine can also cum deep to get the ball or play off hieders shoulder, as i believe one thing hieder can do is hold the ball up and bring others into play. I seriously feel this team at home would absolutely murder any team in this division if executed properly.

                          qblockoo I like it.
They might have to find a spot for the new kid after so call spending millions... however nice team, I like it very much. The defence looks very good.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Cooper Stewart is a good squad player but does not get into the BEST starting 11

well see how he is and rotate him with rowly, or if hieder aint really firing id play vine on his own up front and have faurlin n rowly playing together in the same sort of holding role, but faurlin to have more attacking freedom, both defensive but with good passing so think they would be perfect togehter
