No one has left yet of those mentioned. If Gallas is leaving it's still 3 top quality PL CB's(King Dawson Kaboul) and another quality CB in Bassong.
Harry's jealous that QPR can sign good player. He's a class A idiot.

To be honest I think if we sign Alex then maybe we won't keep going after Samba, obviously no idea just a feeling
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Meanwhile, he'll have MH in his ear saying "you won't get a game at Spurs, or be in one game, out the next, stuff them and join me at the Super Hoops"

Maybe the signing of Alex is a double barrelled attack... firstly he's a great player, secondly, he may be able to influence the brazilain wonderkid mentioned as a target.....

Don't think this is very accurate (or was written earlier) because it says QPR have offered 5 million and from what we have been told this was just the opening offer (by Warnock).

The good news even assuming we miss out is that he is almost certainly now leaving Blackburn - and without him they are stuffed.

Well they could spend the incoming money on some good replacements so we cannot relegate either team just yet.

Rack 'em and stack 'em Redknapp. Just signs players for the sake of it.

Samba will go with Spurs, chance of the title this year and champion league next year. We will not be able to compete, Sparky or no Sparky.

                    Shame.

I think you're right in that he will probably go to Spurs, but he will only be a squad player. King will always play when available as different class, Dawson is the captain when Kings not around so you assume would play when fit also, Gallas is class and been superb for them, so again an option when fit.... and then there would be Samba also, probably ahead of Khabal and certainly Bassong.

Gallas on way out this month by all accounts, King has a hamstring tear, Dawson injured a lot with only 6 appearances behind him & Kaboul the only regular. I can see Samba slotting straight in tbf.

I think if it's a straight shoot out between us and Spurs he'll go to Spurs ,Bigger club chance of champions league football! probably more money?

                            Cut and paste, but...

It makes me laugh that you lot think he'll warm the bench at Spurs. He'll be straight into that team, and he's more than good enouigh to keep his place. From a footballing point of view, it's a complete no-brainer on where he would go if both us and Spurs went in for him. Look at them these days...They are on their way to being a real force, and Samba could be a big part of that.

Plus, if PSG make an offer, they are looking pretty ambitious as well.

Of course it's a footballing no brainer, but when all are available, it's no guarantee that he'll get in ahead of King / Dawson / Gallas.

I disagree. Other than King, he's definitely better than that lot. And of course, King plays half a season.
