Did the way NW treated AT deter some bigger names from signing?

Just wondering with the speculation that NW was after some 'names' that didnt want to come. Did the way NW treated Adel when he threw a strop deter some other big names from joining us for fear of receiving the same treatment when they started being Billy Big ******es?

I did admire NW's stand when he sidelined Adel but ultimately it probably contributed to his downfall.

As I see It, it was the other way around. As a person Taarabt was/is an individualist carried to the extreme. Poor "Old school" Warnock, who had to cope with him.
Anyway,that´s history now.
It´s Mark Hughes´s pleasure to handle this very talented player from now on.

I'll twist this around even further, perhaps NW's benching of AT has scared off clubs who were planning big money bids for him, who knows this could work out well for us?
