Wants to be a part of what we're trying to achieve ... new training ground , stadium etc

wouldn't get drawn in to talking about new players , budgets etc

Wants to achieve longevity at the club by bringing success.

Joked how the players were trying to inpress him today .

all in all standard textbook stuff that pretty much every new manager says at a press conference !!

PB also spoke about the club belonging to the fans and the decision to sack NW and get MH was the right decision for the long term plans/ambitions of the club

I watched it as home from work early, you didnt miss much which hasnt been said before Garth Crooks was there and asked the question about Fulham and ambition which Mark didnt really answer. Then Alex and Nedham were mentioned oh and hes here for the long term and has no release clause in his contract

The most important bit for me was his statement about walking alongside expectations.

What really used to wind me up about some of us fans was the virtual acceptance that finishing 17th would be some kind of triumph. Having seen us play every team now, I think it's pretty clear that we should be so much higher than we are.
