I regularily get my bonce norred by a pal of Darren Bents, and spoke to him a minute ago. He said that DB doesnt really care where he goes as long as the money is right, ideally hed go to Liverpool but he doesnt think theyre willing to stump up the neccessary cash. So technically he come to rangers if we met his demands. Plus points for us are his familys from Earlsfield and he would prefer to be close to them if possible, and hes very chummy with Anton.

He's a nomad and a bit of a mercinary, but he's a top class finisher. This is the more believable one out of all the big stars, but it still won't happen.

thats exactly what my contact made him sound like, sounded exactly like the kind of player i dont really like tbh. But beggars cant be choosers. My contact did say we wouldnt get him for less than £20m

At this present time i think the cash could be spent more wisely. Ie on about 3 players. But it's nice being linked with this sort of quality.

As long as he scores goals, if he has only played for money then long may it continue if he signs for us as he has delivered.

Family live in Earlsfield though, my contact used to play with him when they were younger. He also owns a business in Southfields which is next to Earlsfield. Bumped into him in Southfields/Earlsfield a few times.
