  • Aston Villa ticket refunds

A mate of mine who is a Villa fans reckons they have reduced all their prices for the game against us and it looks like we could be in for a refund from the £37 we have paid

they have stopped selling tickets for the meanwhile whilst a refund is being sorted as they are reducing price. I know it's a good thing but seems strange for them to suddenly reduce the price of tickets?

Not received the letter or e-mail myself yet but someone on LFW has had this

              Dear Supporter,

Today Aston Villa has confirmed that they have decided to revise the ticket prices for the upcoming Premier League Fixture against QPR taking place at Villa Park on Wednesday 1st February.

The QPR Box Office will be contacting you via letter in the coming week, which will enclose a voucher valid until 5pm on Friday 30th March 2012 that can be (a) exchanged for cash in the QPR Box Office (b) used to purchase tickets at the QPR Box Office or (c) used to purchase any items in the QPR Superstore. Please note that the voucher must be redeemed in person, and cannot be used for telephone bookings or mail order postal applications.

This voucher will reflect the reduction in ticket prices for this fixture since you purchased your ticket(s).

Any refunds unclaimed by 5pm on the 30th March 2012 will be donated to the QPR in the Community Trust.

If you have any questions regarding this voucher, please email boxoffice@qpr.co.uk or call the Box Office on 08444 777 007, selecting Option 4 to speak to customer services.

The Box Office would like to thank you for your continued support.

Isn't the away club responsible for paying for the number of away tickets they order?

Yeah, but weve been selling out practically all our away tickets, and Villa,s not that far . Would have thought we could sell the best part of 3000 for this one

Wht can't Villa just give us cash at the turnstile like Wolves did a few seasons back when they moved us to the stand behind the goal?

I bought student tickets because I thought the price was ridiculous at £37 a pop for a bloody Wednesday night. £28 is bad enough... how much do they think students earn!!!
