Looks like a good return at the under 20 world cup - but only 3 goals at club level and starved of first team football.
No doubt he's a prospect but do we not need someone to hit the ground running and start banging them in.

He plays for sao paulo ricky, apart from neymar and ganso he is meant to be brazils next big thing. He is a striker hasnt played much for sao paulo 1st team as just a kid. Brazils and the tournements top scorer at the u20 world cup. Top sides watching him, and a 20m euro price tag. Thats what I have read and heard about him. All I have seen of him was his goals at the world cup.

                Cheers lads.

Sounds a great 'prospect' but ideal for the hustle & bustle of the Premier League??

Only time will tell eh (well, supposing it is him we are getting!).

Well worth a gamble though, IMO, seeing as its a loan. Bit different if we had gone and spent £10Mill on the kid. Could have ourselves a right gem

That is my concern as well mate. He could be a revelation, or he could fall over every 5 seconds.

One comment that concerns me also in that writer up after the U20 semi, is right at the bottom of the piece says he could become a great player, if he keeps focus and doesn't get distracted by off the field activities, or words to that effect.... Does he like the high life, ala Ronaldhino, and if so will it be a problem in London?

Sounds ok to me but 8 goals in 47 games over two seasons doesnt seem a very good record

"Henrique is strong and bullish, packs a good finish and is technically sound. He will work hard for the team even if he is not scoring and has the potential to play from wide if required. If he can add to his reading of the game, hehas the potential to be a very effective striker at club level."

"Of Brazil's prospects, Henrique's game is one of the best suited to the demands of the Premier League."

                          Like the sound of that.

That last line fills me with some more confidence.....

If this signing turns out to be Puncheon we are all gonna be might peed....
