No doubt in my mind it will be Bridge, either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. He is the least complicated as City want him to go and they were going to let him go on a free.... no brainer.
At the same time push the negotiations with Blackburn for Samba, and Chelsea for Alex.
Imagine if we got all of them, a defensive set up with potentially:
Kenny
Young Samba Alex Bridge
Ferdinand
It would be an option as Ferdinand is a good ball player. If he were to play defensive mid in front of Samba / Alex, it would mean both FB's could bomb forward and he could sit there making a solid 3 at the back to deal with any counter.
Obviously we may sign better midfielders in th window, but if we are struggling in that department still, i think he could do a job for sure.Comment
