Well if that comes off that'll be one helluva coup to beat spurs to a signing of that magnitude

Ric-Roc said yesterday players did not want to come to W12 because of players at the club (many assumed it was Joey Barton), this piece again says it was because of Neal Warmock and now he is gone, Samba is happy to come now ?

Paul,in football it does seem that some players just like playing under ctain managers. It happens at all levels( even our local Sunday morning league)

Warnock certainly got his share of players that followed him around but not a lot from the premiership. That is what we have with Hughes.A premiership manager. Now, there will be ceratin players that will follow him that us fans will like and i assume....some that we will not..

From what i have heard so far....cannot really complain..but not sure if this is a smoke screen..but following form Mr Beard from BBC website

1557 FOOTBALL: QPR chief executive Philip Beard has confirmed that negotiations with new manager Mark Hughes had focused heavily on potential transfer targets and he is trying to sign at least one new player before Sunday's game against Newcastle. "We're trying and there are one or two players that we've had discussions about," he told QPR's website. "I can't promise that there'll be new players for Sunday...

Redknapp signing decent players, decides he doesnt like them and then they just rot while spurs demand huge fee's for them.

                    whats not to get?

                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

more concerned with which 20 goal a season premiership strikers love playing under sparky
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

                            Kenny
                            Young Ferdinand Samba Bridge

Not too shabby a back 5 that
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

In terms of defenders I think Samba, Onouha and Bridge would be brilliant business and quite realistic now with Hughes. I say Onouha infront of Alex purely for the long term, he's young and can play anywhere along the back four...Around 13million for the three? (If he's really got 30mill to spend!) Happy days!!

That would be a 10-8th place back 4....

Get another CM with Barton, and another striker and i think we are set!
