He played with Eric Cantona so has experience of talented but tempremental characters. Here is part of an interview regarding Eric:

What was your relationship like with Eric Cantona?

Eric was a fantastic player, a strange guy, his own man. I had a decent enough relationship with him. He rented my house for two years so my wife got friendly with his wife, but we never really socialised together. On the field, it was a really great partnership, I thought. I’m still convinced that if I’d been playing against Crystal Palace what happened wouldn’t have occurred. It’s only my theory but I used to know when Eric had completely lost it. I’d see his eyes go a little bit blacker than usual, and I’d know that for the next five minutes I’d better keep an eye on him. If there was any sorting out to do, I’d say, 'Leave it to me Eric, I’ll boot him for you. Calm down and we’ll be alright.' But I’d been injured against Newcastle and I was out for four or five games so I was listening to it on the radio and I remember thinking, 'You’ve really gone and done it this time'.

If Hughes recognises Adels talent and can tap into it it could be a good fit

Far too dimissive, but we all know your opinion of AT so nothing new there.

Adel knows its not about him anymore, as he's demonstrated well in his last few performances. Even you had begun warming to him.

Like i posted previous..i think Adel and JB will be watching thier backs..I dont see MH taking any shite from anyone TBH..

I reckon he'l give them all a fair go, but 1st sign of trouble then thier out...problem is Joey and Adel have a target on thier backs after whats happened previous.

Dont think Adel will be here next season but may manage to keep his head down this season.
As for JB..he's to dumb to be able to keep his mouth shut, although i reckon Sparky may be on manager that actually frightens him..!!!

Gonna be interesting thats for sure. If they go so be ity. hughes has contacts to literally dozens of better players who could replace them at the drop of a hat.

I would sell Adel before he returns from Africa. Why take unnecessary risks with team spirit etc?

Stanley, why do you have to keep talking toilet about my oppinion, when you don't know them ?

I have always 'warmed' to what Adel can do on the pitch, it's what he does off the pitch I can't stand. Also regarding Adel's recent performances, have they been for the benefit QPR FC or helping Adel to get a move.

PS: I hope he does stay I just don't think he will.

Are you sure? I thought the @AdelTaarabt_ account was him; he has been chatting on there saying about being in Nandoes with the offiicially verified Jon Bostock account so I'm pretty sure it is him.

I don't think it matters either way to be honest. As long as AT puts the effort in it benefits all parties. I'd even fancy MH to sort his head out finally and bring the best out of him, raising his value even more.

Not sure MH and Adel will work out to be honest, not unless Adel does all the legwork. Robinho, Elano, Jo were all similarly talented "mercurial" types that got short shrift...
