Yeah he's going for more talks. Probably finalising transfer targets. If reports are to be believed he and Phil beard talked more about transfer targets yesterday than the actual managers job.

Wd have thought Tony wd want to be there for the big press conference knowing his eye for publicity - or maybe he will do a big photo call with our first signing, hopefully later this week...

Exciting times ahead. All we have to do is avoid the drop!

Good stuff. The board have been impeccable. TF had to be ruthless and had the balls to make the difficult call to sacl NW, they knew who they wanted after obviously doing their homework before the sacking so they could act sawiftly after NW was sacked. They've done exactly what was required and got their man in ASAP, no messing about to give him enough time before the Newcastle match to see the squad train, and more importantly enough time and apparent backing in the transfer window to do what he needs to do.

There was a quick interview with PB and the reporter asked will a deal be done today because Tony said the appointment will happen today and PB replied 'Tony's always optimistic but I would suggest you hang around' with a smile on his face.

Keep watching SSN as I am sure Hughes will be at the ground very soon!

Agreed. West Brom and Newcastle sacked popular managers when they were above the drop zone last season. It's harsh on Neil, but I think (hope!) Hughes is the right man for the job.

A good capture for you guys, but there's going to be some serious ego's in your dressing room now.

Best of luck to you anyway.
