Emotional but also worrying. A couple of weeks back Clint was sitting pretty, thinking about one last pay day - his biggest ever probably - of a premier league contract perhaps followed by a coaching role at rs. now he has to be wondering if neil will take him to Ipswich or wherever he ends up (if he doesn't retire).

Anyway, best of luck Neil - just behind El Tel and Gerry as my top Rs managers in the time I've supported Rs, and in many ways had the hardest challenge of all with the backroom instability.

All managers have the right to go back clear out the desk and say goodbye to his staff. I reckon the Plymouth job should be his, hero down there, just the sort of boss Plymouth needs. Could see him getting them to the Championship again.

              Fantastic comment from Neil:

Yes, I take full responsibility for where we are: We are playing in the Premier League, the best league in the world.

              Thanks for that Neil

Top man Neil Warnock, had a bit of a dig in his column but as he just said he's biased and feels he could have sorted it, and thanked fans for their messages of support.

Think someone mentioned it the other day, name the away stand after him

Sure he would see the funny side to it.

''we were unlucky not to win our last 10 games''

Neil, I love you mate, but this is just absurd, even dillusional.
Yes, we were unlucky not to get more from games against Newcastle and Sunderland, but equally we didn't really deserve 3 points v Chelsea and Everton when you look at the stats, so it balances out.

I honestly think that was the biggest problem... he was blinkered (as he is with the likes of Mackie) and simply couldn't see what everyone else could.

Thank you Neil for what you have done here. Took a struggling championship side to the Premier League in one (full) season. We were very unlucky over the last 10 games and I agree we should have got something from all of them to be honest! but that's just football.

we also got away with two stone-wall penalties against Stoke. Blackburn cd point to endless goals conceded in the 95th minute etc so cd all the other teams. its what happens when you are at the bottom.
