No, I'm not talking about the site "Friends of Fulham" but our old friend Darren. Apparently he is our number one target according to the Guardian.
I have three thoughts about these massive names being mentioned tonight.
1) Amazed pleasure.
2) I hope its not a publicity stunt and that now we actually follow through. No point targeting Bent if we end up with Johnson.
3) I realise that there are only so many players who we can go for but it does seem a remarkable coincidence that the players Hughes apparently wants were the players we were supposedly chasing under Warno. How long have we been talking to Hughes because today sure as hell wasn't the first conversation?
