It was only last week Warnock revealed contract talks on a few players HH, Paddy and Clint had been put on hold to concentrate on results. Think the board already knew then that someone else was coming in with a clean sweep for the squad.

Speculation but, swiftly departing on loan, sale or frees:

    Derry
    Hill
    Hall
    Connolly
    Bothroyd
    Orr
    Murphy
    Dyer
    Buzsaky

Days possibly numbered (gone in the summer)

    Kenny
    Mackie
    Helguson
    Cerny
    Gabbidon
    Helguson

    Days defiantly numbered

    Agy
    Vine
    Cook
    Rowlands
    Vaagan Moen
    Borrowdale
    Hulse
Added an extra part to your list :leaking:

Which of the above squad players do you think he will want to keep to fuflil his amibitons in the Premier League. Derry? Fitz? Orr? Bothroyd? or the two 33 year olds Hill and Helguson etc etc. I'll even throw it open. Which of any of the above players - with the exception of Kenny - would get into the first XI of any Prem side outside the bottom three?

Can you seriously imagine Hughes accepting a job where he was told Faurlin's injured, but to be content with a centre midfield of Derry or Buzsaky alongside Barton to stay up?

To rephrase it differnetly which of the above do we think Hughes will actively want to keep, sess as a contender for a first team place. Perone might be in with a shout, I grant you that
Entirely depends on when you are talking about. Of course long term if Fernandes is serious and Hughes comes he is going to want bigger players than much of our team but he will also know that you can't change a team overnight - reserves are shipped out, first teamers become reserves when better players arrive and so on. Everyone will be shipped out eventually but its gradual - certainly isn't all going to happen this transfer window.

Yes, I'd be surprised if Hughes kept Helguson with us this time next year. Not based on what I think, but on what Hughes is expecting to be given to spend / build if he takes the job. He is almost 34 and prior to ths year been playing Championship football for a a few years. Why else walk out on a club like Fulham for a 'big job' if he has to work with these players?

Well Helguson is 34 doesn't take a genius to work out he doesn't have a hugely long term future but I'd be amazed if injury aside he doesn't remain at least a key figure off the bench for us this season. Way too early to start speculating about next season.

That`s what we need - a massive clearout!

Orr, Hill, Hall, Derry, Gabbidon, Dyer, Bothroyd, Perone, Connolly, Hulse, Moen, Cherny, Shittu - OUT!

Keep the youngsters for the reserve team to get more experience for the future!

Sign big names for big money as the big teams do - as simple as that!

                Thankfully the club refrained from
                Offering to
                Many others out

Shittu and Perone, christ completely forgot about those 2.

                  So many players to shift.

Hopefully a few of them are out of contract this summer.

Think this could be the making of Adel,NW put his arm around him when needed and transformed him into a good championship player who played a massive part in us winning the league. When he had his strops he didnt punish as hard as some thought he should but coaxed him through and then didnt play him this season after storming off at Foolham, this was Warnock showing Adel he cant have his own way in the big time. With MH hopefully on his way a strong manager could help Adel become a good prem player coz at last i think his learnt that sulks and tantrums arnt part of being in the big league.

Looking back you can see that NW signed quite a few duds (although of course he did have one hand tied behind his back).

No point really having a big clear out now, that will happen in the summer depending on whether we're still in the Premier League or not. I doubt Kenny will be our No. 1 next season, a few of those players will be out of contract and the rest will be snapped up by Championship/League One clubs.

Its noticeable that as far as we know not one offer has come in for any of our players. You wd have thought Shittu, Hulse etc wd have been wanted by SOMEBODY but it seems not.

Perhaps we should be trying to find Paladini a new club?
