It struck me a few years ago that a disproportionately high number of our former players dabbled with management for us and elsewhere. Venables, Gerry/Trevor Fancis, Wilkins, Hollins, Olly, Roeder, Gregory, Waddock, Macca and some others I've missed no doubt. Don't think any are available or credible candidates today but it'd be so good if there was a top manager and former R out there now.... someone with an emotional investment in the club.
