You know what Jeffro - my opinion was that Warnock deserved a go at this with the benefit of a full transfer window and I don't feel any different now. However, the Chairman is the one who makes the decisions and has to live and fall by them so my opinion is irrelevant.

For that reason, I respect his decision and also have to respect his choice of replacement even though I don't like Hughes.

As ever I will get behind the team and support the leaders through thick and thin because they are the ones that can make a difference.

When all is said and done, the way messrs Beard and Fernandes have gone about their business is a world away from the T&C circus style and I have massive respect and admiration for them as a result. The whole thing has just ooxed class and professionalism and is totally inkeeping with everything Fernandes has done in his working life to date.
I have had the pleasure to be involved with him professionally on a number of occassions and I said when he first arrived that people would be impressed with his style - he has done nothing to change my opinion and I really hope he gets the credit he deserves for his approach.

I must say the coverage on SSN and the tabloids since NW's departure, has been very good.
What I have been massively impressed with is the profesionalism shown by the club and inparticular Phillip Beard.

They firstly thanked NW for all he has done and made a piont that they recognise this, also TF has apologised as he knows some fans wont be happy.

SSN were expecting a statement at 19.30 yesterday but Beard called them and spoke before as he wanted to stress his appreciation to NW.

We have acted, swiftly, professionally and now Hughes will be installed with a week to get to know the team and take training etc.

Going back to Flab, Paladini etc, they way they sacked managers, gave no info out and disregarded fans was a joke.
We have proper people in charge now, and it is showing.

Well done the board.

Unfortunately some of our m o r o n fans don't agree and have decided to take it upon themselves to abuse Fernandes on Twitter and Facebook for the sacking.

Agree with the decision or not, Fernandes deserves our backing as fans. He has invested huge sums of his own personal wealth into the club and used his contacts to raise our profile globally when many business men would have taken 1 look at us and said we were too debt ridden and too much of a risk!
