I've always said that it takes a different kind of manager to get out of the Championship, than it does to stay in the Prem. I was overjoyed when Warnock was appointed as he was exactly the type of manager we needed at the time to get us up, and so it proved.
Now here's where it all gets a bit mixed up for me, given what I've said above why am I devastated that he's gone? Probably because we've missed the boat on the manager to keep us up. If TF wanted the O'Neill effect, then he should've got O'Neill. Hughes is not in the same ball park. None of the names we've been linked with inspire me with any confidence at all.
