No-one can argue what a fantastic servant Warnock has been to the club. When he first joined I wanted him more than anyone and he has done what I doubt 99% of managers could have accomplished. However, football is a cut throat business. Performances have not been good enough and I understand that anyone can suffer a dip in form. The worrying part was that Warnock looked like he had run out of ideas and tactics with a squad that is without doubt stronger than our promoted counterparts. Furthermore, we lacked that relentlessness and drive from last season, replaced by a side who look beaten from the first whistle. I feel he gifted 3 points at Norwich for playing their game instead of ours and we should have shut up shop better against West Brom and there are many other examples. I thank you Neil Warnock, you have given this club a new lease of life, but it is time to move on with a manager who can keep rangers players under control, outsmart much smarter premier league teams and bring a greater sense of stability in terms of confidence and player positioning.

I'm sorry but Warnock looked out of his depth

I mostly agree rich but I think the breaks certainly didn't go his way and I'm not so sure that was all his doing! Missed open nets early against Newcastle and Villa probably prevented wins in both those matches and the terrible decisions by the referee on the SWP goal vs WBA and of course Barton's red most likely cost us up to 5 points, would he have been sacked if we were 6 or 8 points further up the table?@gatorTFC

I think we have been hugely unlucky this season and 'deserve' to have at least another 11 points on top of what we have.
How we didn't score and win against Newcastle at home, WBA with SWP's goal 2-0 and game over, better side at Swansea and Norwich home and away.
I know things even themselves out, but the only 2 bits of luck we have had is penalty at Swansea not given and the own goal at home to Villa. Would have saved his job.:drunk:

Every team at the bottom will have hard luck stories - if only the ref had given that blatant penalty, if only the other team had not scored in the 95th minute etc, etc. Anyone notice how last season we seemed to have all the "luck" - scoring in last minute etc. Well maybe after 20 odd games its not luck. Poor teams give away late goals, for instance, because they don't in their heart of hearts believe in themselves so flap when they under pressure.
Personally I was v sad to see Neil go as this club owes him a massive debt but I said from v early on this season that in his post-match interviews he was coming across as a tourist abroad, enjoying the sights on his Saga Cruise of Premiership grounds, and when we lost rather than raging like he used to he just seemed happy to be part of the rich man's club.
I supported him as manager until then end and defended him when lots were calling for him to be sacked, but hand on heart if TF can bring in Hughes straight away I think he has played a blinder: given Warnock as long a chance as he reasonably good but ultimately put the interests of the club before the manager.
I hope this will stop the bitching between fans and we get behind the new manager.

How about 2 joey barton penaltys against stoke not given, Chelsea penalty not given, clint Hill penalty not given on Sat, offside HH goal on sat.
everton hitting bar in league game and falling straight to our defender.
We have had a lot of luck believe me.

That´s a good question. I´m not sure. But do also bear in mind what happened "at the office" when he was in Cornwall. It was his resposibility to sort these things out, as I see it.
In a way I will say that he was hugely let down by his own personell.QPR
