But they said it was still bad.
I was hoping for weeks rather than months.

When was the last player of ours to come back as good as he was before a serious injury ?
Mackie, Cook, Rowlands, Buzsaky, Vine, Carlisle, Langley, never did.

I hope Ali bucks that trend.

        He'll be missed but...

am I alone in thinking that he is somewhat overrated? I sometimes get the impression that he sticks out like a beacon because we've been so terrible over recent years...

Now before I get stick from people misconstruing what I am actually saying I will clarify... AF is a decent player but nowhere near as great as some would have us believe... very little pace, limited creativity and a very poor goalscoring record... I think that he is replaceable should TF wish to splash the cash...

However... I certainly wish him a speedy recovery and think that should we stay up and improve the first team then he will be a good squad player to have around....

Ali confirms he's out for the season on his twitter

Ali Faurlin on twitter -"I just wanna let u know guys, its bad news for me I have rupture of the ACL,I'm out for the rest of the season! Really disappointed sad!"

I've never liked the FA or Carling Cup because QPR can never afford injurys. Jamie Mackie had 8 goals in 6 last season, gets an injury for the season. Ali has the highest pass & tackling percent in the league & is out for the season.

We've had such bad luck this season, the only light has been Fernandes & Amit have come in.
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

You've obviously been watching a different player.

Terrible news. No Faurlin, Barton, Taarabt, Traore for Newcastle and possible no manager either. Awful

Gutted for him, such a good player.

If it wasn't going to be hard enough in the next few months.

Now I'm depressed. Chalk off the Newcastle game as a loss. No chance in hello of beating them.
