Barton has had NW under the thumb since he came, rumour is that he has a lot more control at the club than he should have. Hughes did well at Blackburn and Fulham and made teams that are hard to beat, he is a premiership manager and not a lower league manager (like Warnock). Full respect to Warnock for taking us up but this season has always been about him enjoying the experience, its clear things are not right behind the scenes and unfortunately its time to go. Thanks for everything Neil but it looks like your time is up.

Well. If you (allegedly) put a clause in someones contract that they are to be captain no matter what then you are technically asking for trouble. then again - we needed to attract decent players.

Whatever our problems - they extend far beyond Joseph Barton. He may well be devisive, but he's only one man.

One has to ask oneself one question: Why have we gone from playing, and I quote "total football", to playing total sh!te, with the same basic team, in the space of two months?

I think NW needs to be backed in the transfer market and he deserves a full season in the premier

And if we go down then so be it as long as TF and co are willing to stick around then we will hopefully come back up stronger

IF he does join then we could be like Sunderland when O'neill took over. But it could also go terribly wrong. To be honest we are 17th, and what was Fernandes's aim? It was to not get relegated and so far we are not even in the relegation zone.

No I don't understand this "manner" term to be frank. I was disappointed in the manner of the defeat at Fulham. But have not been angry by the manner of any other defeats. We are playing good teams and are going to get beat when we don't necassarily think we should on occasion but we're not playing the likes of Barnsley anymore.

West Brom, Blackburn and Norwich (Away) were before this so called 'free fall'. Sunderland in case you havn't noticed have picked up 10/12 points from our game and since including beating City, Norwich we would have won if it wernt for a terrible refereeing decision. You fail to mention the good point we got away to Swansea. We did lose to Arsenal I will give you that which I suppose we should have won? Get real mate the way you and people on here talk you think we should be pushing for Europe unbelievable.

the free fall started with west brom, we should have closed the game out and we didnt , norwich away we should have won when equalized but got outfoxed by lambert , sunderland we started 1 up top at home , with 2 up top second half we destroyed them , norwich at home we scored against the run f play and we started with 1 up top ,we took adel off who was most likely to get anything, swansea away good second half when we scored game for the taking and we didnt know what to do
