  • Modern Football=Ruthless

Just goes to show how ruthless and cut throat the modern game has become and even more the fans.

Here we have a manager in Warnock who joined us while we was at a familiar low. Within a year and a half we are in the Premier League, joy at celebration, Fans singing 'warnocks blue and white army' 'only one jamie mackie' has now been replaced by sniping and a target on the managers back.

    just plain woeful.

we are not a big club - we are QPR - with a strong fanbase and strong football values.

this seems to have changed though in the PL.

i would like to know how many "doom and gloom" posters were with us when we were in Div 2.

Only 2 teams have been relegated from the PL to two divs below and come back up - QPR and Man City...or have people forgotten?

we were down, we were awful.

we are back, and it's tough. deal with it.

To come through the previous idiots and get us up is nothing short of miraculous. To get us up when you really look at our squad is amazing. Then to have the majority of that squad still playing in the premier league 25 due to lack of backing shows why we are now struggling a bit. Orr, Smith, Buzsacky, Hill, Hall, Connolly, Derry, Mackie all average championship players, plus Bothroyd, Campbell, Puncheon, Murphy, Gabbidon, Perone,Dyer and we have the worst squad in the league. We have no options. I am certain a January transfer window where Neil Warnock can finally sign the players he really wants and needs and we will comfortably stay up. We are still paying the price for having them clowns previously in charge and it seems Warnock is paying the price which in my opinion is heartbreaking.

          Totally agree with these comments.

The grass is always greener on the other side, but there is something to be said for loyalty. Let's not become like the Blackburn fans.

As Jimmy says, we simply don't have a good enough squad at present, and I really doubt anyone else could do better with these players.

Neil can only be judged in this league after this window, once he has had time to bring in the players he actually wants.
