  • QPR equal the worst FA Cup record of 16 games.......

without a win. If we lose next week in the replay, then we get the record and we officially become the worst team ever from the football league ever to play in the world's oldest cup competition.

So depressing to be QPR fan at the moment.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Nailed on and we would deserve it. The only thing that will save us from being the worst ever, is if TF replaces NW.

I don't care. FA cup's lost its shine for me. Semis played at Wembley killed it for me. Doubt if I'd qualify for a ticket if we got to final anyway; even if I qualified I wouldn't stump up the silly £££££s they'd want. A bit of silverware and "privilege" of playing Dukla Stasi in the Thursday Cup on Channel5 is no incentive either. I can can understand the allure of cup to likes of Fleetwood and their opportunity to play the big boys and make a few grand but I cant see what cup brings to any team in the prem. For us, it just seems an annual opportunity to get mugged and have a player maimed......

But at least we'd all know the answer to the pub quiz question when it came up.
