  • Awful performance.............

as per usual with a big following we play total rubbish.

That side today had no pace and no width.

I give up watching Mackie. Smith is like a clone. Neither have a pace and both of them can barely beat a man.

Faurlin and Derry don't get forward to support the front man. Hill never gets past the half way line except for a diagonal ball to the front man or a percentage ball down the line.

Gabbidon's first touch is shocking and Hall just gets worse as a football player. Twice in the first half he gave the ball away from an easy control.

DJ Campbell looked like a Sunday player with his distribution.

Macheda looked bright but Warnock did his usual and played him out wide when he is a centre forward.

Warnock, at the moment you can f**k off. Your tactics baffle me and you are taking us down. Stop being stubborn. Play players on merit and in their proper positions!

You're digging your own hole and that's not the fault of 7,000 Rangers today!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

We were second to every ball today. Every time we had the ball no one seemed to want it! No movement and no clue what to do with the ball!

We passed the ball and we stayed still like the story of our season.

Our midfield just never give and go. That's why we don't score from midfield or even support in the box.

So many times this season, we get the ball out wide and there is just one man in the box. Faurlin, Barton or Derry are never in there to support our striker.

Biggest problem today was the lack of pace in the side. Neither winfers or full backs had an extra gear to get to the byline. And then when macheda was looking effective he got subbed, baffling!

I don't know about anyone else, but it had the feel of a pre-season friendly. I'd have expected our boys to have taken them on today, but they seemed disinterested.

              Either that or incapable.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Reality certainly starting to hit home for me, getting very worried. A few decent signings will ease my nerves, but as it stands I really am starting to wonder if we've got what it takes....

At one stage Luke Young had the ball on the right wing, looked for someone in space, and threw his hands up in despair as there was NO-ONE moving into a decent receiving position.
That moment summed up the performance for me.

(Btw Fitz Hall -- every time he passed the ball out of defence, he passed it straight to MK's midfield. Him and Gabbidon are frighteneing as a CB pair.)
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Perfectly summed up the season so far.

Its now time for the midfield to be brave break forward and get beyond the opposing teams midfield and create options for whoever has the ball. Think the reason we dont do this is as you rightly say they know they dont have the pace to get back in if the move breaks down so were left with no one supporting the front men.

The one time Faurlin broke forward against Sunderland we scored!!!!!!!!!

Smith was our best player by a mile. And you #### warnock about putting Macheda on the wing, but when he did he was so much better and gave their full back a horrible time of it! Just because it says he is a striker on football manager, doesn't mean he has to play there. Warnock got it absolutely spot on by pitting him out on the left
