NOT ON MY WATCH! Rangers are my priority not Neil Warnock. Genuinely love the guy gave us some superb times but I really do feel with regards to tactics, substitutions, line ups, interviews he's way out of his depth.

      Sorry.

Warnock cannot be given a chance just cause he got us up last year. BACK HIM OR SACK HIM.. Im all for him staying if hes backed properly.. Hes the best manager to get us back up for not sure hes got the tactics. You cant just have quality players, you need to get the best out of them.

Ric - as normal, find myself agreeing with you. But all depends on which "established" Prem manager. Its almost certainly not going to be one currently employed in the Prem (or even in a top Championship side like Alardyce). If he can get Hughes within days and give him the transfer budget then fantastic. But I cd well see a scenario where he is forced to hire someone who is not obviously better - and then I guarantee some of the first people who called for Warnock to be sacked will be among the first to whinge about his replacement. Maybe Warno has run out of ideas (sadly) but suspect some on here wouldn't be happy with anyone short of Jose Mourinho.

I think most people are agreed that Warnock is not a premiership manager. I think we all knew this at the outset and under different circumstances he would have been replaced at the beginning of the season. The problem we have now is that we are half way through the season, he has bought in some players who should do well in the premiership (SWP, Anton, Young and maybe Barton with the right guidance). However he does not seem to be able to get the team to gel.

Having said that there is a problem here, the only way he could be replaced is if another manager was available to take over in the next few days. Sacking him without another manager in place is not an option.

The players which have been mentioned as coming to the club on the whole seem a good selection (Alex, Samba, etc) and should be able to play under any manager.

So my suggestion is that a new manager is found and then Warnock is given a golden handshake. This could mean waiting until the end of the season.

Of course should we get a couple of good results, then everybody on this forum, me included, will be of a different opinion.

There was poll on this site about 10 days ago, when I looked it was 85 for Warnock to stay and 15 to go. What would it be now??

You say that but every manger has their favourites, as we see with Warno and the Love Child, Clint, Derry etc, etc. I guarantee another manager will suddenly want a whole other bunch of players that aren't remotely on our radar at the moment.

And I was one of the 85% who voted to keep him with the mindset of we will go to a decent enough side (albeit in League One) & do a good job on them, get some confidence back, put the last few weeks behind us & move on but no I've come home again totally p!ssed off at the manner in which we played absolutely devoid of ideas against a side way below us ability wise (apparently) & its finally hit home enough is enough.

Or for those opposing this post please tell me when is enough enough? Its not a knee jerk reaction we are in January ffs! Will it only be enough for some when we are mathematically down & then they can say oh yea maybe we should of done something about it. Prevention is better than cure.

I feel gutted for Warnock as in my opinion he done wonders getting in who he did pre season in such a short space of time but his undoing for me is home form (so negative against average sides) substitutions, line ups & his covering up interviews after games.

Have said it so many times & will happily say it again. Love Warnock I really do but we are going down without a fight as it stands.

Hughes keeps getting mentioned. Probably because he's the best of what's 'available' & probably agree. Has a goods rep in the game, is respected & will turn us into a bit of a hard team with a good footballing basis.

Things clearly need freshening up. A lot can't be said for obvious reasons after last time but I do feel a lot of changes need to happen. I'm actually praying we get a top result at Newcastle to give Warnock a fighting chance, I want him to do it but I've been saying this for so long now. When does it click its just not happening?
