He also bought Kompany and de jong

Good manager, would be happy with him in charge. Wouldn't touch Zola with a barge pole though.

What about Sven, will attract players, but has he the fight for a relegation battle.

Not a fan of Hughes, too mercenary. I'd rather have Curbishley or Gigi back!

Hughes managed wales well, then Balckburn well, then man city well and then fulham well. Level headed and has been there done it at intl level and the prem and champions league.

Has more high level experience as a player and manager than warnock .

Will have instant respect from all of the top players

Hughes is also strong enough to deal with certain personalities in the dressing room

But does anyone of you have any clue as to whether Hughes wd be remotely interested in coming to us? Not having a go, merely asking the question.

I think we should back warnock, then sack him end of season regardless of what happens. Then start from scratch and build the club from the bottom up

But if we're in the championship, getting right players and so on is a bloody nightmare! We need to stay in the premiership.

                            Same here

Letīs see what he can bring in this week. If we get versatility and a complete squad (as he will see it) he simply canīt play players out of position anymore, lol.

Yeh but we don't need to buy as many players a s you think to get out of championship. We should have never been champions with our team last year, but we showed with the right mix and the right manager it can be done on a very small budget. If we went down, managed to hold on to Jay Bothroyd, and DJ Campbell, Paddy in goal, Fight tooth and nail for Traore and Young. Then add to that Hall, Gabbidon, Mackie and Helguson, that is half way to having a blinding team. Add to that there's a good chance we would have to sell Barton, Taarabt, Faurlin, SWP and Ferdinand, that would raise close to 20million pound, which if you spend half that on the right players with the right manager, we would be straight back up. The prem isn't the be all end all right now

Hughes is a rubbish manager. No better than Warnock.
