  • Our best scouting

Lot of talk about Jordan Rhodes here.
Brings to my mind a question: who has been our best scouting from lower level or abroad?

    Les Ferdinand

Stan Bowles started at Man City, he made his debut for City v Leicester in the league cup 67/8 season.

I would say Sir Les from Hayes FC, made his debut for us v Coventry away 87.

Sir Les was scouted 25 years ago. In the '90 best scouting was Trevor Sinclair. After that we haven't been very successful.

Hand down it has to be Ned Zelic or Gregory Goodridge

Must admit we have been quite successful in Italy and Scandinavia.

Remember all the fuss made about us signing Dominic Shimmin and another lad who I can;t even remember from the Arsenal youth squad. Stars of the future, chased by loads of clubs, massive coup etc. Think they made about 3 appearances combined and disappeared without trace to Tesco or Asda.

Tell me Marc Nygaard is a wind up, I had friends in Denmark that pissed themselves when we signed him. Barring the screaming at leicester away cant remember him ever achieving anything.
