  • For Samba read Bassong

Surely the bid for Samba is just to get Spurs to make their move for him so that they then let us have Bassong. We didn't get Bassong last time around only because Spurs failed bring in Cahill

That's along the lines of my thinking. It looks like Cahill is off to Chelski, and Samba appears to be the best CB available at the moment.

At the moment, we're in for Samba, Onuoha, Alex, and perhaps Bassong. I don't think we'll sign more than two CBs, but I suspect a lot of jiggery pockery is going on.

Then again, NW may not want Bassong this time round as he has had more time to think about other players.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Bassong's country did not qualify and Samba (according to Wiki) has not played an international since 2008.
