  • Warnock's position

The more and more I read, the more rumours that come out, make me think that they may be some truth in the TF getting cold feet on Warnock rumour.

The same reports say that we will not commit big money to players but rather take loan players and see how NW does with them, without being committed.

January is now here and we have taken 1 high profile youngster on loan, we are now supposedly close to Bridge "on loan" another decent player but non committal.

This mirrors what the reports say and I am now worried that Fernandes will try and keep us up by loaning quality players but not giving Warnock any real clout.

I seems as though relative bargains like onouha for 2.5 mil will be sanctioned as its not a disaster if NW goes because we know he is a decent player, but we will NOT see the marquee signing because I now get the feeling that Fernandes doesn't trust Warnock with his/our future.

I don't want a team full of loanees as even if we stay up, we start from scratch again next year with half a team once the loans return.

Can't Fernandes come out and make clear the deal and what's happening?

Tony could move Warno "upstairs" when need to.

I dont think he is getting cold feet at all, we have made a bid for Alex, we have made a bid for Onouha, and for Johnson of Fulham all signings not loans.

I would agree with you Jeffro but in the interview today he said that he'd only got one more loan left so wanted to see how many perms they could get in. The way he said it, didn't sound like it was one more loan and that's it.

              Clearly an option.

Jeffro , if TF doesn't trust Warnock as you summise then he should get rid now , as after Jan 31 any new manager is stuck with the squad which make it much harder to stay up. Problem is Who would be the replacement to guarantee Prem status

We're only allowed 2 loans and we've already made 1.

I'm afraid your theory collapses right there.

Warnock said months ago he would be looking at loans! Weather it's nw or any1 there are no guarantees on staying up so we need to be mindful ofvthat

Yes, according to Neil at today's press conference. Only 2 loans from England allowed apparently.

So 2 loan players and a couple of bargiain players brought in is quite different to the BIG signings we were supposed to be getting.

I didnt have a theory just looking at what has been said.

Now we have the TF "no one is safe tweet" makes you wonder...
