dunno about Macheda yet as he's only had 10 mins on the pitch but Bothroyd has had all season to impress......and failed.
Tbf Warnock got to take some blame for consistently playing him upfront on his own whenever he's played him. Put him in a pairing with DJ (if he ever gets a game) and it might be different

W12, you may be right, he might be useless. I'm pretty sure you would like to be proven wrong also.
But Bothroyd? I know we haven't been playing to his strengths, but maybe thats down to him not having many.

we need a proven goalscorer, we are not in a position to blood one of fergies hopefuls, this is the PL not NPC.

I'm not Bothroyd's biggest fan but unless we play to his strengths how can he prove himself...same with Campbell.

He must have said something very wrong to Warnock(or somebody else at the club)

Anyway,Macheda and DJ on top against MK Dons could be interesting.

We'll get a proper look at Macheda on Saturday, hopefully people will hold off ripping him to pieces until at least after that.

Playing vs MK Dons doesn't prove how good you are....

Oh, I fully agree with that. And whilst I also accept the fact that NW was let down badly during pre season, he has had since the end of August to make sure we have one in place. So I would quite like to know who he is and where he is. Because it's getting a bit crucial now.

Campbell and Bothroyd have been at the club long enough, especially Bothroyd he had pre-season with us.

Its Warnocks system which has failed not the strikers

And, as you so correctly point out above, Campbell (who is the one of the 2 that has actually achieved something in the PL before) has been injured - and for pretty much all of the first half of the season if you include his bout of illness.

Not disputing that either. I like this agreeing caper, it's fun.

Campbell has hit double figures once since turning pro.
Last season when he scored 13 and that was in a very gung ho Blackpool team.
Not sure he is the answer, or Jay

Both times Bothroyd played in a 4-4-2 he's scored (Citeh and Spuds) but it seems Neil doesn't want to play to his strengths, like he doesnt with Traore and SWP too.
