Rubbish.. Why would he not invest when failure to do so will mean relegation? If he didn't have faith in Warnock, he would ditch him. The stakes are just too high.

More lazy journalism - no more truth in it than those linking us with every player under the sun the last few weeks

Posters love to say "lazy journalism", but isn't that just lazy posting? How do you know its wrong? Have you done your own research? I'm not saying its true or its false but it seems all too plausible to me. This is a paper I personally can't stand but more than any other it seems to have the inside track on all things QPR.

I think people say it due to the fact there isnt a single quote from TF aying anything of the sort. Unless they somehow have inside info (in which case fair play to them), it does look to me like they are just trying to create a story to get people talking without any real basis for it.

If and I say if its true we are focked! Dont get the right quality players in and we are nailed on to go down! Imo.

                    Agree 100%

I see nothing in that report that couldn't be credible. We are clearly looking at loans and it says he would support a "marquee signing" which fits with the Alex discussions and maybe a couple others.

I personally don't think we need to spend anything like £20m. We have a decent starting 11 if he'd only select it. We need maybe 3 or 4 new players to bolster the squad with some quality in depth and i'm confident we will turn this around and pull away from the bottom 3. I actually think we could do that with the squad wee have now. Our form will change for the better and other will have their slump. Nobody said our squad wasn't good enough to survive 10 games ago.

Fully agree, I thought the article sounds mostly accurate IMO.

With TF being so vocal on twitter I would be concerned if he doesn't come out and trash the article.

The Daily Mail has simply taken what the Daily Star has written and changed it. There are no facts, no quotes and it is all purely speculation.

Lets have some common sense, things were bad this time last week and there was no talk of TF restricting the budget or ousting Warnock. I'm sure the Norwich result would not have made him change his mind so dramatically.

The last Tweet from TF about QPR was on 3 Jan and it said: "Hard done by today. There is a reason for everything. I'm as ever optimistic. Horrible run but luck will change if we stay focused and results will come. Stay positive.". Does that tell us something?

Dou Dou: have you actually read the article? Unlike the Star it says Warnock's job is not under immediate threat but his spending plans have been reigned it. In all fairness to it this is not a "sensationalised" article at all, its actually quite nuanced.

Matty: mate, I work in the media - no chairman or chief exec is going to go on the record with a quote like that. Those things are always done off the record. Whenever fans dont like what they are hearing they make out some evil journalist has made it up. Fernandes - and Warnock even more - will have a dozen journalists on speed dial. Where do you think all those nudges and winks about transfer targets have come from? Read the article again closely and tell me you really think that has been made up or gleaned from the words of wisdom on this board, as some are even suggesting.
