I believe that Warno is too long in the tooth to stay and know he cannot turn things around. If he feels that he cannot do the job I believe he is honest enough to tell Tony so.

Don't agree. Warnock is too proud to say he can't do this and managers rarely walk away now anyway as it has financial implications for them.

Really can't see Warnock walking, he's far too pig headed. He won't even change the formation when everyone seems to be screaming for it.

Just re-read the article and there are no quotes, no 'sources', nothing to back it up - just more lazy journalism

          Fernandes won't sack NW now

If he spends as he has said he would then we've got a chance, if we're relegated NW will walk and the new players will have 'escape' clauses written into their contracts anyway

Take these articles for what they are - shite

Interesting responses. Some fans still in "shoot the messenger" mode, others seeing the scale of the crisis and the major dilemma the board face.

TF deserves the backing of all of us. I just hope now he acts decisively - either gives Warno a large amount of money to buy good players (not short term fixes like AJ) or he sacks him immediately and brings in a better manager at once (not easy). All I do know is doing neither one thing nor the other is the very worst option - and by the way with continued uncertainty over Warnock will make it impossible for him to attract decent players in any case.

Indeed. It also fails to appreciate that people like Fernandes love the press and talk to it all the time, sometimes on the record and other times off the record.

so naive, for the record i know a few not convinced by bingo tony including myself.

tf has done nothing yet to warrant the kind off hysteria surrounding him, lets see how he comes out off this transfer window first

first rickett he made was publicly backing warnock to the hilt when he first come in...should have been more cautious

Maybe you should apply to be his business advisor? Sounds like he could do with your input

But tbf, I can see where youre coming from with regards what you say about him and the hysteria surrounding him; I think this Jan will be a big sign of his intent with the club and his ambition. I, personally, dont doubt him, but a big January for us will, IMO, cast aside any doubts any people do have. Whereas a couple of loans and 1 small signing will obviously set a few peoples alarm bells ringing... Understandably.

We won't spend more than £5 million, if that!

Find myself pretty much agreeing with a lot of what you have said recently re Warnock, barton, team performance etc. but not sure I agree with this. I’ve got a lot of faith in TF:

                        1) He immediately made a signal of intent by giving Warnock the funds for SWP, Barton, Ferdinand and Traore. These 4 would command higher wages than current squad as well as transfer fees involved. Up to that point, we had shown no intention of budging from the 20 to 25k limit, which would not attract the quality of player needed. Whether these players have worked out is open for debate but the backing for the manager and the signal of intent for everyone in and outside qpr was clear to see.
                        2) The way he has conducted himself in the media has been very impressive. Warnock has also been nothing but complimentary about him. He comes across as professional and a high powered individual. When other players & fans look at him, they see a bloke who lets the manager make all the decisions on players, tactics and backs him where he can. He is in the background when he should be but also upfront as the owner when also required.

How can you say he's done nothing.... Without him there was no chance we would sign players anywhere close to the calibre of SWP, Young, Barton, Ferdinand and Traore..... short memories some people.

I agree on your point about backing Warnock. I can see why he backed him as we needed some stability, and Warnock need assurance, to then allow him to focus on the league and not whether he was going to have a job, but i don't think he should have been quite so adament he's here for the longterm regardless.

So who do you suggest would be a good chairman for us?

TF has backed the manager in the transfer market, cut ticket prices, interacts with the fans. What else do you want from him at this early stage? I would bet there's a whole stack of clubs who would like to have the chairman we have.

I note with interest your comments about not signing anyone apart from Macheda this month, and your change to not spending at least £5m. I shall bring any new signings and the sums to your attention as and when they happen.

Didn't Amit publicly state the club's debts have gone and the club is effectively debt free? Didn't he also add that the last batch of transfers were paid for by the board and not on the club's books?
