Its no wonder the previous clowns at the top alledgedly used this board as a tool to remove Managers and spin things their way.

I can guarantee that the self same people who are now rumbling about changing Managers were previously calling for a Knighthood for NW in May and October.

We are in a TERRIBLE run of form and I agree on the face of things the Managers current form looks as bad as our players. I disagree with much that NW has done last 6 weeks but I do not know what he's had to contend with behind the scenes.

What I DO know is that us as fans could maybe look to create that W12 cauldron that we saw v the **** and Man City. That includes the people in front of me who have taken to looking round and tutting of my shouting and colourful language (I'm sure that one will blow at some stage this season)

I back NW for many reasons and I crave STABILITY at my club. He will continue to receive my support, albeit qualified, and I just hope we can do as others around us have managed and pull off some surprise results -- lets face it any win would be a surprise at present!

Funny thing is, I'd also bet if we'd struggled badly until October and had recently crawled our way to this position many of you would have a different slant. I'm sure you'd possibly agree that NW had a lot to contend with and had done well to drag us off the bottom with the players available, bad summer, off field distractions etc

Funny old game - just a shame it ain't making us smile at the mo

2 things I'll challenge you in is the thing about what he has to deal with in the background , all the problems gone seems to have a supportive board and all the players he has bought in are hiS

And the last 6 weeks we've made errors that have led us to being 2 points off bottem whilst everyone around has found something extra

Replace Warnock with who? Until fans who moan about Warno come up with a credible suggestion this is a pointless debate.

          Expand?

Be nice to hear the inside track from a member of the coaching staff - they are the only ones who know what's what

On the mistakes of last 6 weeks I alluded to thinking some of that down to NW. We never really had a good go in the games he alluded we would but how much of that down to players or specific tactics I don't know

I pray for a turnaround NOT a new manager as our success down that route not been the best has it?

How many to times has Mark Hughes been relegated from the PL and for all the "he would walk out on us for a better deal brigade", what did NW do when he left Palace to join us ?

Thats a really good post mate. I wish I could see things from such a positive slant. I have written so many posts over the last 6 weeks or so and not actually submitted them because I feel that they are so negative and might look harsh to some.

I'm pretty sure that each and every one of us is desperate for NW to turn things around, but time is running out. He failed badly over the first half of the season in my view. Simply cannot see it any other way. Hopefully he can repair the damage he has caused.

Brighton, you said "the damage he has caused", which is quite damming coming from you. Yes i know people quite like getting their knickers in a twist having a go at me, but you........

I will eat as much as I can and I really hope he pulls a rabbit out of the hat, but where is the next win coming from, as we are pee poor at the moment and the clock is ticking. I guess it's true what people say about us buying PL football and is why so many fans from other clubs want to see us relegated.

Agree if we were to replace Warnock, Hughes would be the outstanding candidate - but none of us know if he would be up for it. Any of the other usual suspects and it wd probably cause more damage than good.

More to the point, if the board was going to be ruthless the time was Monday night after Norwich. Instead it has decided to "double" and back Warnock with significant new funds. I'm as baffled as any fan by some of his decisions and concerned about some of the off-field rumours, but he is now being backed to rebuild the squad HE wants. The decision has been made and we should back it, too. The last thing we want is to turn ourselves into Blackburn Rovers fans and become the enemy within. Its sink or swim now with Warno - yes its worrying, but its the way it is and we had better get on with it.

likewise me paul if he fails to keep us up but i said early doors(before our loss of form) that he can only be truely judged after this window. when we were looking good i also never jumped on the bandwagon and said that we were to wait and see how the next transfer window pans out. i trust him to do us right even if i have me fingers and toes crossed
