Now can I ask you two simple questions?

I'll take it slowly so you understand...

Why wasn't Derry sent off during the infamous incident with Barton??

Right, i'm making dinner at the moment, so take your time and have a little think, and i'll come back with the second question in a mo.

    Answer if you can.

Sorry, but I think the FA got it wrong. So does NW.

What's the point? In my opinion, Joey shouldn't have been sent off. He made no contact with his head. The rest is academic.

You say the FA got it right. Do YOU think Barton made contact?

The Fa are C**ts!.. imo they don't like us and they don't like Warnock, Joey should not have put his face near Johnsons but you do see it all the time and as has been said not everyone gets red carded for it.
The ref should not be making decisions based on reputation in my view, but I think that has happened in this case.He is also as entitled to be protected as any other player which he clearly was not.

You're wasting your time arguing with these people, their footballing experience is via FIFA 12!

I think most on here spent too much time in computer club and not playing football. I think Joey showed amazing restraint!

                What?

Rather the opposite as I see it.

Hahaha you know when you play that oppo teams can get at certain players, Rooney is a target, and Barton would be a target for opposition teams , these things go on all game mate and on every given day on a pitch your have a little battle, you have to be a pro and rise above it or as Barton, Rooney, Scholes (when playing) , react and get sent off. If you played mate with that view , bet you didn't get to many touches of the ball? must have seen a few reds??

I read your posts as being in support of the ref's and FA's decision, correct me if I'm wrong.

Others would however, disagree with you.

why do you dismiss the Gervinio incident as another game , then use another different game ,to make your point , double standards

This is about the Joey Barton sending off. That's what we're discussing...

I'm actually using a tweet by Barton citing Bellamy and Dempsey. I can't quite recall the Gervinho incident, but if memory serves me right, there was contact made. In the Norwich game, I don't believe contact was made with the head.

I did see a few reds yes, but not many! You could get away with a lot more then. I truly believe that Joey got sent off purely for his conduct in the past. Two players squared up last night and just got spoken to! A little consistency would be nice! Remember the ref originally blew up for a foul on Barton after the handbags, he didnt even see it!
