Jusrt seen on a Twitter source we've had a #6m bid for Samba turned down with BR holding out for 10m. If we match that price perhaps they'll throw in a few chickens with the player?
Would be a nouget of a singing tho

All the top clubs have quality all over the pitch and on the bench - top class players understand the rotation game and are prepared to play it.
We currently have square pegs in round holes and pony cover - so to be a team that competes at this level, let alone falls into the top clubs bracket, we need a quality squad that can cope with rotation.
This won't sit on the bench thing is a total myth - just look at Manure, Citeh, Chelsit.........and so on#standuptocancer

Yep Bluehoop is right of course about needing a really strong bench to prosper (assuming Warnock learns to use it). Where others do have a point is that players like Alex and Onouha wd be coming to us precisely because they are fed up sitting on the bench. One thing being an un-used sub for Man U - very different to being an unused sub for QPR sitting next to Jason Puncheon/ whoever. But keeping the ship together is the challenge of a Prem manager and this is when Warno has to prove he is up to it.

Alex hasn't seen first team action for a while - nor has Onouha for that matter, and players often get injured trying to re-adjust to the pace of the prem. We need at least two defenders or it will be back to Keystone Cops defending with players who simply aren't good enough if we are going to survive in this league.
Singing a left back is a separate issue, but I bet NW don't, as he has Traore and Hill.

Onuhua - Alex - Ferdinand(Samba) - Young (wishful thinking)
Looks good! As opposed to (Possibly Saturday's back four)
Hill - Hall - Connolly - Orr
