So often the case that two people see things differently.
As for not starting SWP, have we not established that he has been carrying an injury and was unable to complete a second 90 mins so soon after the Arsenal game?
He did look pretty sharp when he came on, in fact more so than he has since his debut.

      Bluehoop,

Don't normally disagree with you, but in this case I do. Very strongly.

If I recall correctly, irrespective of taking the lead, both before the sending off and up to half time, I cannot remember us having an effort on goal other than when Barton scored.

The most obvious tactical mistake in my view, was having Barton, Faurlin and Derry in the same team. Unbelievably negative. We were playing at home to Norwich, who as we saw against our 10 men in the second half, are not very good at all.

Regarding SWP, in my opinion, he should have started. We'd have probably been a couple of goals to the good by half time with him terrorising their awful full back. Then just as Lambert changes things to deal with him, guess what - you replace him, making the oppostions plans redundant and creating something else for them to think about.

Too often in my view, Warnock just can't seem to do anything that may surprise other teams or use his squad in order to get the best out of each of them. This has now led to lack of confidence, not only within the team, but increasingly it would appear, in the fans eyes in relation to his own position.

Ultimately, we are where we are and not at least 5 or 6 points better off, due entirely to him being stubborn and ineffectual. The big problem with this, in my view, is that it will now be harder to attract the better players. People were hoping for Samba the other week. There is a thread today about James Collins. Good grief, what a reduction in ambition.

Don't want to knock him or get on his back. I'm sure no one else on here wants to simply for the sake of it either. But some are expressing their growing concerns about his ability to manage in this league. And sadly, he has and is continuing to give them all the ammunition they need to fire his way.

Let's hope he bucks his ideas up before it's too late.

May be I was still suffering from my New Year hangover, but we were in fron and they had created nothing - that to me means we were on top. And I do agree that Barton, Derry and Faurlin at home is too negative btw.
