Talking to a Man Utd fan in the Springbok before last Sat's game apparently under the terms of the loan agreement, Macheda cannot play in the cup or against United.

Manchester United loanee Federico Macheda has been given permission to play in the FA Cup.

Macheda - who made his QPR debut as a late substitute in our narrow 2-1 defeat against Norwich City on Monday - is now be in line to feature in the third round against MK Dons this weekend.

Under the terms of his loan deal, Macheda will not be allowed to play against Manchester United when the R's travel to Old Trafford in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday 7th April.
