QPR midfielder wonders how long will it be before an official is taking to court for poor decision making

That would not be a bad thing IMO, as it will force the FA to bring in appropriate technology to ensure the decisions made are the correct ones, as like Joey said, there is to much at stake for one man to decide...........

Agree Mason... He has also said he thinks that refs would like to have the technology.

I think it was a tongue in cheek type comment but he has a point. The ref yesterday ruined that game for 15000 people who had spent alot of money and time to be there. Now I am very much in the corner that refereeing decisions are what gets us talking about our game and what we debate about. However, when such a dreadful decision is taken to send a man off which in turns ruins the games for 60 minutes something has to be done. I think some sort of performance scoring should be set up for officials so they are competing. At the moment its just too easy for them to make a howling error and have piece of mind that they are safe.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
