I don't see how so many people can write off a striker before we even sign them!
Macheda has come in on loan he may not set the world alight but he may score vital goals give the lad a chance.
The jelavic or however you spell it many have said no thanks he plays in a two bob league won't score goals so on, well Liverpool are in for him now but he still ain't good enough for us!

It also makes me laugh that people think we can get bent!! There is no way we will spend 25m on a player come on don't get ahead of yourselves we are still weather you like it or not a small fish in a big pond with bigger teams much bigger teams in it and Aston villa are one of them, why would he leave them for us?

He reminds me of a Nickals Bendter type player, has a lot of ability and technically very good as you would expect coming from Utd, but cant see him being a prolific gaol getter, hope im wrong.

I really hope we do sign jelavic.

That's we're we lost the game yesterday tho we carried on playing as if we ha HH upfrOnt. well we didn't have him there we had a player who is not a prolific headerer so why keep nocking it high to him? Got even worse when we brought DJ on. With Macheda give it to his feet in te area he will score!

If H had been in that position in the first place then certainly he would have steamed in - but Heidar's lack of pace means he would never have been in that position in the first place.

We didn't see a lot of Macheda but his movement was very impressive in his short spell on the pitch - one run in particular where he checked from the back of the box to the front from a corner and was unmarked by the time the ball came in - sadly though the ball didn't beat the first man.
